  1. Nice looking 750 Honda. Takes me back to the first one I saw. A friend of mines father bought one of the first ones in the Sacramento area.He told several of us to come by the house after school to see the "new" bike. All of us assumed his father had bought the latest Bonneville, since he'd been riding them for years. We were all simply dumbstruck when he threw open the garage door to unveil the "New" Honda. We stood there a long time just looking, and counting carbs and pipes. Then he fired it up. Knew I had to have one as soon as I heard it. Took me about a dozen years to realize that dream, but I finally bought a 1972 model. I still have it. It's waiting like a lot of other projects. Nice thing is that it has an original set of four pipes. I lowered it an inch in front and back which transformed the handling. HL

  2. I did have a K6, in gold, like the look of it but prefered riding my CB550F which handled better and was just as fast.
Look up Vic World, yes thats his name, and have a look at his site, he only deals in the early sandcast CB750KO bikes, he builds some nice bikes.

  3. Oh yes, I've seen Mr. Worlds work...pretty impressive. Honda even bought one of his bikes. I love my 550. And the 500 I had would keep up with a 750 till the Ton mark, before it would run out of steam. Those early bikes with the smaller baffles sounded good. HL
