Just a Photo

Just a photo taken at the Scottish Classic Motorcycle Club during last summer on a Club night. The very nice BSA A65 (yet another one) has a 750 conversion done by a company called Devimead, now called SRM Engineering.

  1. As a youth I always liked Triumphs better than BSA's. I thought BSA's looked too "Italian"...Later as a young Motorcycle mechanic, they started growing on me. I don't have an A65, but a friend has a beutiful Lightening. I do have an A-10, a Victor,a B-33, and the makings of a B-40 trials bike. Yeah, I need an A65 and a Triple of course...to round out the collection.Better go buy a Lottery ticket tonight, I hear it's getting up there. Hairy Larry

  2. Same here, but Nortons Commandos for me, still love 'em but since getting the Starfire and Vicky, like the looks of BSAs a lot.

Will have to wait for to win the lottery to get an OIF Lightning and Rocket 3

  3. Yeah Bodger,I agree with Commandos...after riding a friends 750 and working on 750's at the shop, knew I had to have one some day. I've got 1 and a half 850's.I need to get the full one back on the road. Mick Hemmings built the motor in that one and I'm sure I've already told you about that one at your blog. Something about the sound and handling on that bike, yeah I get worked up thinking about that bike..ha ha...HL
