A magazine advert for the Honda CB550F. I am a bit bias towards this bike as it was the first Jap four I bought. Bought mine in 1981 and did about 50000 mls on it. Its in a few large parts just now,just needs a few weeks work, once the new sheds up it'll join the queue.
Is your's Metal flake orange like the advert?. The CB-500 I had was clothed with tank and sidecovers from a 550 like the one in the pic. Always got comments. I'd considered painting my current CB-550 in the same color, but might do something different this time around. Gotta admit I'm biased to that bike as well. HL
ReplyDeleteLarry mines is orange, but not metal flake, also it used to have the brown seat, which was quickly replaced with a Two Four seat (sort of cafe racer style with a hump)
