After posting photos of the Motobi 650 a few weeks ago I thought this would tie in nicely with that post. I think is a 1975 advert.

Thought I'd let you see this advert I came across, as its just right for this season.
Its amazing what some people come up with just to let us ride our bikes all year round.... this one didn't seem to catch on.
Haven;t found any other details on it, as yet!

Another magazine advert, this time for Norton and as usual for the time a female was draped over one of their bikes, there was a whole series of them

It says "They're even better for 72" just a pitty 72 was the final year for them. By this time they had a good line up of bikes, even a new model due out, the BSA Fury 350. Having seen the Fury and the Triumph version, the Bandit, they were good looking bikes.. what might have been if they hadn't ran out of money and backing...

A magazine advert for the Honda CB550F. I am a bit bias towards this bike as it was the first Jap four I bought. Bought mine in 1981 and did about 50000 mls on it. Its in a few large parts just now,just needs a few weeks work, once the new sheds up it'll join the queue.

What can I say about this "thing", did they sell, did anyone buy one and has anyone seen one?

Seeing as we haven't had any old adverts for a few weeks here's some from the late 60s, there seems to be a bit of a bias towards BSA on the site???
