A 1967 Honda P50, I did a deal with Vic at the weekend to get this nice wee P50. I first heard of it , and the PC50 he has, about a year ago. I'd had a PC50 many moons ago so thought the P would be interesting. So heres looking forward to getting it on the road in the next month or so and head for the back, flat, roads
Heres the Monty Python vid sfb sent me on FB, the star is at the end....?
For those interested there is a link to a P50 shop manual in the title
Looks to be in fantastic shape. A friend of mine had one for awhile but ended up getting rid of it because of a hassle with registering it. I think his was a blue one. Never ridden one, and have no clue how the drive gets to the wheel...have to look into that.
Larry, I've got Vic to thank for the wee P50, and its as good as it looks! Also theres a shop manual on the P50 in the title, think its around page 74 that you can see the final drive set up....
sfb, the P50 would be burnt out by the time I rode it down there to race you, but one of those moped only ride outs sounds interesting....
I don't know if there are any sections near you - I don't think they are all listed on the website - so I'll check next time the Buzzing magazine turns up. The NACC runs are good fun, usually a good variety of mopeds, autocycles and cyclemotors and often some very early motorbikes that are best enjoyed at bimbling pace.
Look out, there are mopeds!....occasionally a "pack" of about 6-7 mopeds will cruise around Sac-town together. "After removing the brake shoes from the engine case...", very interesting.
