One of my all time favourite Actors, he would have been 82 today. He was not always Steve McQueen, when entering motorcycle off road events he'd use the name Harvey Mushman, mainly to try and keep it quite from the Studios. Think I'll go and put The Great escape on....
Just got through watching Mr.Mushman in 'On Any Sunday'. All Sideblog's fault for mentioning it at that blog.
ReplyDeleteDon't think many people realized that McQueen was a serious motorcyclist who took part in desert races as well as a couple of ISDTs in Europe.
